Unique to the UK, the Tree-Shredder’s rotating head reduces whole trees to chips in seconds with minimal ground disturbance. It is far more efficient than the traditional 2 man + chainsaws + chipper. As an indication the Tree-Shredder operates at approximately ½ the cost. For whole tree clearance the Tree-Shredder reduces the tree to fist sized chips spread over a large area and is ideal for conservation areas where ground vegetation can be retained. Previous methods such as chipping machines created large piles that can take between 5-10 years to decompose stifling the existing vegetation. By using the Tree Shredder we can maintain the ground vegetation, such as heathers, grasses etc, that already exists and because the chips are spread over a wide area they do not stifle growth. This is ideal for situations such as whole tree clearance where existing heathers and vegetation are to be retained.
